Selected projects

Glenrose Engineering has 20 years of experience designing and implementing projects for water and environmental protection in the Austin and Central Texas area. Innovative projects designed by Glenrose Engineering include: the first biofilter system to treat storm runoff; the first system combining several biofilters and a wet pond to treat storm runoff; and the first system combining a sediment basin, biofilter, and natural vegetated filter to treat storm runoff. Glenrose Engineering also designed the first system to combine a pervious parking lot with an underlying storm runoff treatment system. Each of these systems was designed to achieve the rigorous pollution reduction standards necessary to protect the sensitive karst limestone nature Barton Springs and the Edwards Aquifer.
